Phil Sykes, University Librarian

Welcome to the University of Liverpool. The Library will be an important part of your university life, and using our resources and services effectively will help you succeed academically. Our Customer Charter sets out what you can expect from us and what we will expect from you.
The Library is much more than a building full of books; you will also be able to access academic articles, reports and data on or off campus via the library website.
Our staff want you to get the most out of the Library, so please don’t hesitate to ask them for help if you need it. Each subject area also has a dedicated Liaison Librarian who works closely with your lecturers and will teach on some of your modules.
Good luck with your studies and enjoy being part of the University of Liverpool community.
